At Cliffe House Organics we use trusted traditional methods when crafting our handmade soaps. When creating our Soaps we use a process called Cold Press which is the act of mixing oils (common oils include Olive, Coconut and Palm) with an solution called Lye. The result is a chemical process called saponification, where the proporties of the oils change with the help of the lye to create a bar of soap. One of the main benefits of cold process soap making is having complete control over ingredients.
We use only 100% natural & organic ingredients in all our soaps and have taken time to pick the perfect combinations to suit all skin types. This includes the pure essential oils we use which not only give our soaps there scent but have there own unique properties that help skin in many different ways, see our ingredients page to see how our ingredients can help your skin.
Our soaps can be used all over your body as part of your everyday routine and for your face. We recommend lathering our soaps in your hands and then applying to your face letting the natural oils cleanse and moisturize your skin followed by rinsing with warm water to leave your face fresh and cleansed.
